Salman guilty: Twitteratti divided, but some posts are just bizarre
Mumbai: After Salman Khan’s verdict in the 2002 hit and run case where the actor has been sentenced to 5 years in jail, the film industry has been divided in their opinion. A number of celebrities took to Twitter to express themselves and extended support to Salman Khan. Playback singer Abhijeet is one such well-wisher of the actor, whose insensitive tweets have outraged many.

Meanwhile, jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali expressed disappointed with the verdict passed in Salman’s hit-and-run case. However, her tweets said something else -- she pointed out that "sleeping on the footpath” was the real crime.
The govt should be responsible for housing ppl.If no 1was sleeping on d road in any other country Salman wuld not have driven over anybody.

It's like penalising a train driver because someone decided to cross the tracks and got killed in the bargain. #salmankhancase

No one should be sleeping on the road or footpath. It is dangerous to do that just like it is dangerous to cross tracks.
