Micromax, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, has gone health-conscious. Alongside the launch of the Yuphoria smartphone, Micromax launched the YU Fit smartband and the HealthYU fitness tracker. The HealthYU is priced at a mere Rs 4,999.
The HealthYU is a simple device that is smaller and slimmer than a conventional smartphone. All you need to do is pair it with the smartphone and stick it to the rear panel of the handset. Turn it on and you need to place your fingers on the two placeholders on the surface. The device then tracks important body vitals such as ECG, skin temperature, blood oxygen saturation, heart rate and respiration rate. The device is compatible with any smartphone and costs just Rs 4,999.
YU is a health tracker that’s simple and smart. And because it doubles as a phone cover, it’s handy too. The user just has to simply hold the device and the sensors begin testing the vitals. 30 second miracle
With HEALTHYU, 30 seconds is all it takes to track one’s health! A White LED on the Power Switch glows for 30 seconds after the users turn it ON and hence enables the consumers to take reading within these 30 seconds. After the recording duration ends, one can see the Reading Card, which shows the measured values corresponding to each body vital and share it with doctors / friends/peers at just the click of a button.
Smart Technology
Bringing a perfect amalgamation of best technologies across the globe, HEALTHYU uses a 1 Lead ECG mechanism to capture ECG; an NTC thermistor based sensor to measure skin temperature; and reflective SpO2 technology to measure blood oxygen saturation. The Heart rate of the users is calculated accurately using the ECG values and the respiration rate is derived from the ECG and SpO2 values. Blood Pressure is derived using a combination of calibrated and sensor based readings.
Wireless ECG
HEALTHYU app obtains a comprehensive graph of your heart contractions wirelessly through the touch based sensors, installed on the smartpad and dynamically plots graph in real time. One can further zoom in on the resultant graph to spot abnormalities ahead of time and take precautionary action.
Track your performance and Share it with your loved ones
The smart device comes with a personalized dashboard space to take a new reading, look up the existing readings, and modify default settings. The dashboard comes with a plethora of compelling features like comprehensive timeline, reading card, share readings options and more.
