It looks like lady luck is clutching Manjima Mohan’s hand tightly and not letting go! Manjima made a transition from a child actor to a lead actor through the recent Oru Vadakkan Selfie.
The film became a hit and sent cash registers ringing. The same film landed her a mega opportunity in Tamil with director Gautham Menon.
Manjima will be the lead in his upcoming Tamil film and she will be paired opposite Simbu. Confirming the news, Manjima says, “I am not at liberty to speak anything about my character but yes, it’s true. This offer came through Vineeth Sreenivasan after Gautham watched OVS and I went through an audition and clinched the role!”
Manjima adds that she has not accepted any new film in Malayalam because of her Tamil film, which will keep her busy till September. Expressing complete happiness about acting with the renowned director so early in her career, Manjima says, “I am so excited. I was and still am a big fan and have watched all his movies. It is also a huge responsibility since it is my debut in Tamil and my second film.”
