Sourav Ganguly to become Team India's High Performance Manager: report
Mumbai: The trio of Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar are set to play crucial roles as Indian cricket gets ready to begin a new era.
According to a ‘NDTV’ report, Ganguly is likely to be appointed as the High Performance Manager of Team India. His role will be similar to that of Pat Howard of Cricket Australia.
The report added that Tendulkar would be asked for help to upgrade the National Cricket Academy and turn it into a top-notch research and training facility. Dravid, meanwhile, will be asked to work as a Talent Development Manager.
While Ganguly has given his nod to the proposal, Tendulkar has asked for clarity about the role. Rahul Dravid, on the other hand, will give his confirmation after the completion of eighth season of the Indian Premier League.
