Guntur: Brindavan Gardens turns a hub for elite
Guntur: It is like Banjara Hills or Jublee Hills and Film-nagar in Hyderabad. Brindavan Gardens, Chandramouli Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, Lakshmipuram and adjacent areas located in the Two-Town in Guntur city became preferred residential hubs for rich and elite people, including VIPs, politicians, business persons, white-collar job holders and above middle class sections in the society.

MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, his brother former MLC Rayapati Srinivas Rao, former minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad, YSRC leaders former MLAs Mekathoti Sucharitha and Ambati Rambabu and others are living in these areas. Business persons like leading tobacco company owners in India like Bommidala brothers, Polisetti brothers, leading cotton business personality Gorantla Punnaiah Chowdary and many others are also residents of these localities. Apart from these noted personalities, many white-collar job-holders, government employees and parents of NRIs and PIOs also live here only.
Many corporate and MNC companies in fashion, service and food sector find business potential in this particular area than any other and with is the motivation factor for them to establish their units here only in this city.
K. Srinivasa Rao, a real estate company owner in the city, informed that the land prices are very high in these areas and no ordinary resident could efford to find even a 100 square feet of land for construction. He also informed that a decade back, Arundalpet and Brodipet in the Two- Town were considered by the rich and elite people. But now these areas have turned into rich business hubs and Brindavan Gardens, Laxmipuram, Rajendra Nagar and Chandramouli Nagar became the destination for many rich residents in the city.
