Plan to harness Durga’s energy
Vijayawada: The Amaravati master plan gives due importance to Bramhasthan, the concept of open space, and has provided for positive energy flow from the Kanakadurga temple. Besides, it has relied on vaastu principles to provide an axis to channel the positive energy to the capital.
The master plan specifically mentions the flow of positive energy from the Kanakadurga temple, which is to the northeast of Amaravati.
The cardinal north-south primary axis links the Bramhasthan to Kondapalli. Temple priests and vaastu pundits confirmed that the observation of the Singapore government was true. Vaidic committee member Shankar Sandilya said Indrakeeladri, on which the temple is located, has great spiritual power.
Ancient lore says that Arjuna was presented the Pasupatastram by Lord Shiva atop Indrakeeladri, with blessings of goddess Durga. Adi Shankaracharya also established a Srichakra at the temple.
