Telugu director, producer and distributor Raj Kandukuri was surprised when he got a call on Friday afternoon from none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I was very surprised. My father Sri Sivananda Murthy garu has not been well for the past few days and the Prime Minister got to know about this and called me. He was very humble and offered to help if needed. He wished our father a speedy recovery,” says Kandukuri.
Dr Sivananda Murthy has followers worldwide. PM Modi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chandrababu Naidu, KCR and many others respect him as a great Satguru.
“A few days ago, we stayed in Bheemili near Visakhapatnam. My father wanted to stay in Warangal, so we have shifted him to Warangal now,” says Kandukuri. A team of doctors is supervising his health.
“My father told the PM that the country was his first priority and he should give good governance to the people. ‘India needs leaders like you, work with patriotism’,” says Kandukuri, about his father’s advice to the PM. Modi even tweeted about the phone call. Spoke to Satguru Sri Sivananda Murty & enquired about his health. Wished him a speedy recovery & prayed that he leads a long & healthy life, the PM tweeted.
