KT Rama Rao dares Chandrababu Naidu to take lie test

Mr Rama Rao said the Revanth Reddy issue was a crime and it has nothing to do with people of the two states

Hyderabad: Telangana IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Monday challenged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu to undergo a lie detector test to come clean in the ‘cash for vote scam’.

He alleged that attempts were being made to involve him in some case for which he is ready to undergo a lie detector test, adding Mr Naidu was trying to create friction between people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to wriggle out of the case which was wrong.

“Let’s sit before a live TV coverage and undergo a lie detector test. Whether Mr Naidu had sent someone or not? Did he offer money or not? Whether he indulged in corrupt practices or not? Let us do it openly,” he said.

He denied allegations that Mr Naidu’s phone was tapped saying the audio tapes circulated in the media were the call records of Sebastian.

Mr Rama Rao said the Revanth Reddy issue was a crime and it has nothing to do with people of the two states. “Whatever is happening here is not an issue between people of two states. There is no fight between the two states. The issue is clear. Mr Naidu and his TD indulged in corrupt practices and they were caught by ACB,” he said.
