It was rumoured that Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Barbie Handa would be roped in opposite Mahesh Babu in his upcoming film Brahmotsavam, but according to executive producer Rajiv, Barbie was never approached. “We did not consider her for any character in our film. After the rumour started doing the rounds, her manager approached us for a role. But there is no character for her,” says Rajiv.
Srikanth Addala of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is the director and the film will have three female leads.
The makers have almost finalised two of the actresses and are on the look-out for the third. Popular Tamil actor Satyaraj is playing an important character in this film.
The film’s shooting will start from July as Mahesh has almost completed his other film Srimanthudu.
