Watch: Virat Kohli defends a free hit-delivery, gets trolled
Mumbai/Mirpur: India’s loss against Bangladesh has led to a lot of criticism towards MS Dhoni-led unit. But the cricket fans are trolling Virat Kohli, Dhoni’s depute in shorter formats of the game, and it has nothing to do with India’s defeat against The Tigers.

As India bundled out for 199 in the second ODI, Virat Kohli was trolled for defending a free-hit delivery. The incident took place in the fourth over of the Indian innings. The sixth delivery of the Taskin Ahmed-over was a no-ball following which Kohli received a free-hit. However, he did not even attempt to hit a big one and instead defended it towards a fielder guarding the point area.

Twitteratti wasted no time and started to troll the Indian Test skipper.
Defensive shot of a "free-hit" by Virat Kohli. That's Kohli telling he won't play until he gets the captaincy of ODIs too. #BanvInd

Is it any surprise that Virat failed again? He blocked a free hit earlier in the innings. #BanvInd

@kingshukc I'm sure even Glenn McGrath would be able to have a swing at a free hit http://t.co/AjEMpKs4LW
