'Aaj Ki Party' song scrapped from final cut of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'
Mumbai: The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ team has already released three chartbusters starting from a peppy number ‘Selfie Le Le Re’ to the qawali number, 'Bhar Do Jholi Meri' crooned by Adnan Sami and 'Tu Chahiye' by Atif Aslam. Now they are all set to launch the third one, which is a party number 'Aaj ki party'.
This special party number was to be a part of the film’s end credits. However according to reports director Kabir Khan screened the film for Salman’s father Salim Khan, who was apparently blown away by the film’s ‘poignant’ ending and felt the song would not fit well with the film.
Attaching peppy songs towards the end of a film have become the flavour of the season. Most makers attach a song completely irrelevant to the film’s plot just to grab the attention of the masses.
The director decided to give the song a test run and attached it to the film. However as it didn’t test well the director decided to scrap the song from the film. The song will however release today and may just be the next chartbuster from the film.
