Having worked with A-listers on multiple projects, Sanjay Leela Bhansali knows exactly how a film set can attract unwanted attention. In order to avoid any picture or video leaks from the sets of his upcoming magnum opus Bajirao Mastani, the director has taken special precautions to ensure that no one gets a picture or video footage of the behind-the-scenes action. It is mandatory that those on the sets do not carry their cellphones.
Says a source, “With Priyanka, Deepika and Ranveer on the sets, there are bound to be visitors. Besides, the shoot is taking place in Mumbai, so there will be friends of actors coming to say hello as well. But SLB has made it amply clear that he doesn’t want anyone clicking pictures with the stars in or outside their vanity vans or on the sets. He wants to take no chance with someone getting a shot of the stars in their film costumes.”
To be very careful, those organising fan meetings with the stars have been instructed to get the fans either before the shoot or after pack-up. They’re allowed to click pictures before the stars change into their respective costumes or once they’re out of it.
