Thambi Ramaiah’s advice to his son
Umapathy is being launched in Tamil movies
Actor Thambi Ramaiah’s son Umapathy is being launched in Tamil movies with a film Adhagapattathu Magaajanangale. A romantic entertainer, the movie is directed by Inbashekar who is known for his mega soaps on Vijay TV. Reshma Rathore from Tollywood has been roped in to play the female lead.
We hear that the national award-winning actor Thambi Ramaiah advised Umapathy not to take an acting course to become a good actor. “It is not that way! What he meant was that these acting schools may help to sharpen your skills, but acting should come naturally from within. He always tells that it is the passion and perseverance towards acting willtake you places,” Umapathy explains. Interestingly, Thambi Ramaiah is not part of the film.
The novelty of the title will be revealed towards the climax, says the director. Karunakaran, Naren, Pandiarajan, Manobala and Dayalan essay prominent roles while D. Imman composes the music for the film.
