Will send DNA samples of 50 lakh people of Bihar, Nitish Kumar tells Narendra Modi
Patna: In a fresh war of words, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his ‘DNA remark’ against him at BJP’s Parivartan Rally in Muzaffarpur last month, saying at least 50 lakh people of Bihar would send their samples to Modi for a DNA test.
“In this shabdwapsi (take back your words) campaign, at least 50 lakh people of Bihar will join a signature campaign and send their samples to Modiji for a DNA test,” Nitish Kumar said in a series of tweets.
Inspite of our repeated pleas Modiji hasn't retracted his derogatory remarks on our DNA, we're going to launch ????????? /TakeBackYourWords

Two weeks ago at a rally in Bihar, Modi said that deceit and treachery are in the Chief Minister's DNA. Kumar in an open letter urged him to withdraw those remarks, saying that it was an insult to all people of Bihar and the people of the state were feeling “disgusted and hurt”.

BJP quickly responded through a letter saying, "Bihar is not Nitish, Nitish is not Bihar"! The strong-worded reply dubbed Kumar's letter "a flop comedy film" after being shown a "much hyped and grand trailer" and said it was a "clear, condemnable and calculated attempt to misappropriate the voice of Bihar as the voice of one man, the Chief Minister and his ambitions".

"PM Modi hasn't retracted his derogatory remarks on our DNA, we'll take the battle to people now," Kumar tweeted.
