Major police reshuffle

New Delhi: In a major reshuffle, the Delhi Lt Governor on Friday transferred 35 police officials, including deputy commissioner of police (New Delhi) Vijay Singh, who was involved in the crackdown on agitating Army veterans demanding One-Rank-One-Pension at Jantar Mantar.
Mr Singh has been transferred to the north-west district of Delhi Police. Jatin Narwal, additional DCP in New Delhi district, will replace him. Mr Singh will replace DCP N. Gnanasambandan, who will be the vice-principal of the Police Training College.
