ISRO launches latest communication satellite GSAT-6

<p>Boosting the confidence of the designers of Indigenously developed Cryogenic Upper Stage (CUS), Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-D6) has placed the most advanced communication satellite (GSAT-6) in the designated orbit on Thursday evening.</p><p>In the ninth flight of India's Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV), GSLV-D6 took off majestically leaving orange flames behind much to the delight of people gathered to witness the launch from the second launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota, 90 km from Nellore City in AP.</p>
