The second outing of Nivin Pauly-Abrid Shine combo, Action Hero Biju, has finally found itself a female lead. Anu Emmanuel, daughter of producer Thankachen Emmanuel, will be paired opposite Nivin Pauly in the upcoming flick.
“I happened to chance upon Anu Emmanuel when I was in search of a heroine and found her perfect for the character in terms of looks. Later, a video profile of hers was sent to me, which I found satisfactory, and I confirmed her for the role. For now, I can only tell you that she will be paired opposite Nivin. The rest of the details will be revealed later,” says Abrid. Anoop Menon also plays a prominent role. Anu Emmanuel had made her debut in films acting as the daughter of Jayaram and Samvrutha Sunil in Swapna Sanchari, which was produced by Thankachen Emmanuel’s production house True Line Cinema. However, she had been on a break from films ever since due to her studies. Now, the actress is making her comeback in a completely new avatar.
