There were several speculations regarding the title of the bilingual film starring Nagarjuna and Karthi in lead roles. The makers have now officially announced that the title for the movie in Tamil is Thozha and Oopiri in Telugu. An adaptation of the French flick The Intouchables, the film will have Tamannaah playing the female lead. The movie which went on floors in Chennai a few months ago has one schedule of shoot left. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film is being produced by PVP Cinemas.
A source says, “Thozha has a schedule of 15 days remaining in which two songs will be shot. The film has been shot in Paris, Lyon and Belgrade and the remaining portions will be canned in Hyderabad. The film will hit the screens by the end of December.” Anushka, who is playing the lead role in Inji Iduppazhagi, another film of PVP Cinemas, is playing a cameo in Thozha. The source adds, “She is doing a special appearance — her portions were shot in Paris.”
