Actor Rahman with Vijay Naren
Actor Rahman, who was last seen in the Jyothika-starrer 36 Vayadhinile, is doing a crime thriller titled Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, next. The film will be directed by debutante Vijay Naren, who is 21 years old. “Going to work with the youngest ever director in my career. My next Tamil film Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, to be directed by Karthick Naren. Guess his age? He just turned 21. Surprised that the young and new generation has chosen me for their first time venture. Hope I bring them luck. Ya Allah bless me on this trip! (sic),” he wrote on his Facebook page.
The actor also said that it is refreshing to work with such young talent and crew. The film will begin on September 25. He recently wrapped up the shooting of Pagadi Aattam, which is expected to release in November in which he plays a cyber cop.
