Jealous student stabs friend during threesome and jumps to his death
Connecticut: A Yale student had stabbed his friend in the neck and jumped out a window in May this year after flying off the handle during a threesome.
Tyler Carlisle had graduated only a few days before his death from the Ivy League university in New Haven, Connecticut. Until now his death was considered suicide, the reasons behind his actions were kept confidential from the public. But a police report accessed by Gawker however has revealed the truth behind the incident.
The police report says that Carlisle and his friend Alexander Michaud were having a threesome with a female friend when Carlisle flew into a murderous rage because he felt that the woman was giving more attention to Michaud. He grabbed a knife and stabbed Michaud in the neck at 5:30am on May 26 and then leaped out the apartment window from the sixth floor.
A police officer who was present at the scene, had spoken to Michaud in the hospital and wrote the following excerpt in her report “Michaud, [female’s name cannot be disclosed], and Carlisle had all been drinking. The three of them were having sex in the bedroom, and Carlisle started to get jealous of Michaud and [female friend].
'Carlisle grabbed a knife that was on the nightstand next to the bed. Carlisle stabbed Michaud in the neck area.
'Michaud does not remember how he got to the living room. Michaud sat on the chair in the living room and told [redacted female] to "call 911.”
[the female friend] grabbed a white t-shirt and held it to Michaud’s neck to stop the bleeding. Carlisle then went to the living room and started pacing back and forth, saying "I’m sorry."
'Carlisle sat on the window sill and said he was going to jump. Michaud did not see Carlisle jump out of the window.'
According to the officer’s report, the female friend was too shocked and distraught from the incident to give any statement. While Michaud survived the stabbing and is completely stable, the female friend did not suffer any injury.
