Arun Jaitley, the most sought-after man in BCCI in present scenario, flew in from Delhi to attend the meeting.

In the meeting, it is learnt, they had discussed many issues including the conflict of interest in the Indian cricket, failure to develop the new Tendulkars and Dravid. In order to solve that problem, the Indian cricket board is planning to make domestic cricket, including Ranji Trophy, more efficient.

After the IPL spot-fixing, involving cricketers and team owner/principal of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, BCCI’s image had gone for a toss and there has been a lack of trust towards the Indian cricket board.

As quoted by English daily, "Those present wanted the new administration, more precisely the new president, to take measures that will restore the Board's credibility."

Those, who are part of the Indian cricket administration, want Shashank Manohar- known as Mr. Clean – deliver a clean IPL.

BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur and IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla on Tuesday deposed before the Supreme Court appointed Justice (Retd) RM Lodha Commission on the possible reforms that the board is expected to carry out once the second part of report is released.

The BCCI, which is expected to carry out the possible reforms once the second part of the Supreme Court appointed Justice (Retd) RM Lodha Commission, is released. The report added, "The Lodha Committee is expected to come up with suggestions with regard to the governance of the Board and the members felt that the new dispensation should draw up a plan to deal with conflict of interest, corruption and issues related to transparency."
