It was reported earlier that Nikki Galrani is playing a cop in Ezhil’s film, which has her paired opposite Vishnu Vishal. The actress, who was receiving training in kalaripayattu and other martial arts for a month to tweak her body language, says it is fun to experiment with different roles and quotes that as a reason for taking up the role. The untitled film has its first schedule completed, and the Darling actress is excited to have pulled off some action sequences.
She says, “I play a sincere cop throughout the movie and will be sporting khaki in few scenes. My introduction scene in the film is a fight sequence where I knock down five baddies. So you can imagine how my character would be throughout.”
Nikki says it was the tomboyish character she essayed in Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka, which landed her the role in Ezhil’s movie. The second schedule of the film will commence in few days in the city, and she says it was fun working with Vishnu Vishal, Soori and the other cast members. “It’s a very chilled out atmosphere on the sets. The film is a wholesome entertainer, and though I play a serious cop with two fight scenes, there is a romantic track and beautiful duet songs,” Nikki adds.
