10 lakh jobs in the offing in five years, says Nara Lokesh
GUNTUR: About 10 lakh jobs would be generated in the state in the coming five years, said AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son, Nara Lokesh, in Guntur City on Tuesday.
He said that Mr Naidu had a vision on how to create employment in the state and was working towards the goal.
Mr Lokesh was participating in a Guru Puraskaarama and Guru Sanmaanams Pratibha Puraskarams programme organized by Dr Ramineni Foundation of United States, in the city.
He said that the state government had successfully created a favorable environment to the industrial sector and added that the three mobile manufacturing companies would start operations soon.
He also said that Mr Naidu had saved at least Rs 1 lakh crore of the state exchequer with his Land Pooling Scheme.
Mr Lokesh advised students to compete with global standards to explore global opportunities.
He said that he was not a brilliant student at school, which had eventually caused problems during his higher studies abroad and added that education from the school level itself should be strong and at par with global standards.
Ministers P. Pullarao, R. Kishore Babu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, and MPs and MLAs participated in the awards function. The Foundation presented awards to top students in government schools in last year’s Xth Board exams.
