Silk:
No! Silk is not simply pulled out of a silk worm’s mouth. The process of making a silk thread is tedious and involves patience and time. A silk worm releases thousands of meters of silk strands from its mouth (saliva) to build a cocoon around itself, where it matures into a moth inside it. But before it transforms into a moth, the cocoon is boiled to kill the insect inside and the strands of saliva (silk) is then unrolled very carefully. Multiple strands of this silk are rolled into a single thread of silk, which is then processed an used for weaving garments. Check out the entire process of how silk is manufactured.
