The 63-year-old, the World Cup winner for Pakistan in 1992, tied the knot with Reham in January at his Islamabad residence. But unfortunately, the couple announced their separation on Twitter in October.

The reports also said that the cricketer-turned politician texted “talaq” (Arabic for ‘I divorce you’) three times to Reham to officially divorce her.

Though both of them had parted on a good note but a source declared that the message was the final nail in the coffin.

It is learnt that Reham received the message after landing in Birmingham from Pakistan. She was reportedly taken to London by senior officials of Imran’s party to negotiate a financial settlement to call off the marriage.
