Culture centre of Vijayawada sets record for poetic prism
Vijayawada: The Culture Centre of Vijayawada (CCV) has entered the Wonder Book of Records International for the event Poetic Prism, which brought multi lingual poets under one roof for the first time and for bringing out multi lingual anthology of poems. The certificate of record has been given away to the representatives of the CCV by MP Mr Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) at CCV in city on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Nani said that the cultural centre has been providing a platform in the capital region for artists from across the state. He said the CCV has hosted nearly 100 art shows in a short span of time and stressed need for encouraging such initiatives. CCV CEO Mr E Sivanagi Reddy and others were present.
Poetic Prism, the event organised by CCV brought poets of Tel-ugu, English, French, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Mala-yalam, Kannada and others under one roof for the first time, in state. The event was organised on Septem-ber 19.
