BJP MP Kirti Azad dares Arun Jaitley to file a defamation case against him
New Delhi: Striking a discordant note from the party’s line, BJP MP Kirti Azad has dared Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to file a defamation case against him in connection with the alleged DDCA scam.
In a tweet, the BJP MP asked the Finance Minister to not ‘gag freedom of speech’, after Jaitley filed defamation cases against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders for levelling corruption charges against him during his tenure as the head of the Delhi & District Cricket Association.
' hello dear @arunjaitley hampar defemation file kar rahe ho na? Please karo na Don't take injunction, don't gag freedom of speech.

Azad on Sunday had held a press conference to ‘expose’ irregularities in the DDCA, despite his party’s warning against going public with his allegations.
The MP from Darbhangha claimed that around 14 companies to whom payments had been made when Jaitley was at the helm of DDCA were non-existent.
' How did #FakeCompanies have Bank A/Cs? #DDCA. Need #SpecialAudit to do Bank reconciliation to identify the money trail.........

Azad however said that he had no personal animosity against anyone and that his campaign is against corruption.
