Veteran actress Sadhana Shivdasani passes away
Mumbai: Bollywood veteran actress Sadhana Shivdasani passes away at the age of 74 today. The actress was admitted in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital where she breathed her last breath.
According to reports, Sadhana’s close friends Helen and Waheeda Rehman are on their way to veteran star’s residence in Mumbai to pay their condolences.
Born in 1941, the actress was one of the top actors of the 1960s and 70s. She is remembered for her roles in blockbuster films like 'Love in Simla', 'Hum Dono', 'Arzoo', 'Waqt', 'Woh Kaun Thi', 'Mera Saaya', 'Ek Phool Do Maali' and many more.
Sadhana's hair style, which she first fashioned by her in the early 1960s, became a trend in the industry. The 'Sadhana cut' made her name a part of popular Indian culture.
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma took to their official Twitter account to express their condolences.
