Baap ka maal samajh rakha tha? Rishi blasts Gandhis for naming assets after them
Mumbai: Rishi Kapoor is known for his bold and blunt statements. The actor never minces his words and freely speaks his mind, especially on his official Twitter account.
On Tuesday, the veteran actor posted a series of tweets questioning why national assets were named after the Gandhi family and insisted that they should be renamed. Rishi openly lashed out at late PM Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, in one of his tweets that read: "Change Gandhi family assets named by the Congress. Bandra/Worli Sea Link to Lata Mangeshkar or JRD Tata link road. Baap ka maal samjh rakha tha?"
"If roads in Delhi can be changed why not the name of Congress assets/property? I was in Chandigarh recently, there also I saw assets named after Rajiv Gandhi. Think. Why?" said the veteran actor.
