Stallone expresses apprehension over Tiger's Rambo remake, backtracks later
Mumbai: Tiger Shroff established himself as one of the most bankable action stars of the country in a very short period of time.
Hence, it came as no surprise, when Sidharth Anand cast him as the eponymous lead, in his Desi adaptation of Sylvester Stallone's 'Rambo'. Jackie Shroff's prodigal son, who was last seen in Remo D'Souza's 'A Flying Jatt,' has been prepping himself for the gruelling shoot of his 'Baaghi 2,' another franchise that had further consolidated his image as an action star.
However, 'Rambo,' has elevated him to a league of his own, though the reaction the news on social media was quite polarised.

Sylvester Stallone himself couldn't help but react to the very unexpected news.
However, his first response, reeked of calculated apprehension.
However, the international superstar quickly went on damage control mode, iterating that his words had been misconstrued.
He further went on to share the poster of Tiger's film and wished the youngster well on the venture.
Tiger, often appreciated for his humility, reacted positively to Stallone's tweet.
There will always and only be ONE "eye of the tiger" for us cubs 🙌 you rule the jungle! Thank you so much sir! @TheSlyStallone https://t.co/9SQi9Kzujr

Stallone, who was last seen in the recently released 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,' seems to have saved it for now, but it remains to be seen if this comes back to bite him.
