Hrithik might not have hacked Kangana's email id: Cyber cell forensic team
Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s very public spat hinges partly on a crucial point of contention — emails. Ever since the details of the fight started spilling over in the public domain, a bunch of things have come to light — one of them being the curious case of hacked emails accounts.
Kangana has alleged that Hrithik sent her multiple emails to which she responded, only to be told that they were directed to an impostor posing as the star. Kangana further went on to say that Hrithik has hacked into her account to delete a few emails, to avoid over- complicating his divorce proceedings with ex-wife Sussanne Khan.
However, according to a report in Mid-day, the forensic team of cyber cell have stated that Hrithik did not possess any hacking device nor did he hack mails through the device he was using.
Leaked: Kangana’s emails to Hrithik give a shocking new twist to the case
The certificate read, “After checking the PC, network and WiFi logs, the original Apple Mac of Mr. Roshan shows no results or instances of having accessed mail.com domain in which email.com is present.”
Kangana’s emails to Hrithik with explicit contents were either marked as spam or ignored. The images and mails from the imposter using fake id hroshan@email.com shows that the imposter was using an Apple iPad device and Hrithik Roshan did not own an iPad during that period of time.
On April 24, the actress' lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui accused Roshan of diligently storing and maintaining these "unverified and fabricated emails for future use as is seen now. It has also been observed that he willfully fails to authenticate the genuineness of any of these emails which he received from a hacked account".
He claimed Hrithik abandoned his complaint with police for 14 months before taking it up again this year in February while sending a defamation notice to Kangana for calling him a "silly ex".
Kangana is set to record her statement in the fake imposter case, filed by Hrithik, on April 30 but her lawyer said the actor did not wait for it and instead started showing media these unverified and fabricated emails to prove that Kangana was mentally not "stable."
"When his name, image and reputation was at stake and he was accused of hacking my clients emails and also of being in a relationship with my client, besides there being a charge on him that he has also sent a lot of stuff in the last 6 months to my client and that therefore there cannot be any imposter," Siddiqui claimed, adding why did not the actor bother to clear his name immediately.
What started as a complaint against an alleged imposter by Hrithik has turned into an ugly public and legal battle between the two stars, with both coming up with allegations and counter-allegations against each other every other day.
Hrithik, who was the first to send the legal notice to Kangana, has demanded that she apologise in a press conference publicly and clear the air about their alleged affair which he firmly refutes. Kangana had replied by sending a counter-notice to the actor and alleging him of 'slut-shaming' her by circulating private mails and photos.
