Batla House is a tough film to make, says Nikhil Advani
Director Nikhil Advani, who is collaborating with John Abraham on Batla House, says it was one of the most difficult films to make.
Nikhil Advani informs, “We have done 11 days of shooting. I leave for the Lucknow, Delhi and North India schedule in two days’ time. We have been researching for this film for four years, so it is a very special film for us. It’s a tough film to make, but I think I am happy with the way I have shot the 11 days.”
Bollywood actor John Abraham, who was last seen in Satyameva Jayate, is all set to wow audiences with this upcoming release. The film is based on a real incident of a shootout in 2008 in Delhi. The Batla House encounter that took place almost a decade ago on September 19, 2008 is officially known as Operation Batla House. The operation had targeted Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in the Batla House locality of Jamia Nagar, Delhi.
At the moment, Nikhil is happy with the success of Baazaar that was produced by him. Nikhil says, “Baazaar was a difficult film to make on a tight budget. All of them have done a great job. The film was based on the stock market, which is unusual for our audience, and still it was appreciated. So, it’s a great feeling.”
