Watch: Aamir Khan adorably wrestles with son Azad while prepping for Dangal
Mumbai: Aamir Khan, being the perfectionist that he is, went to great lengths to portray Mahavir Singh Phogat convincingly, on-screen,' through his decades long journey.
The 51-year-old actor, accumulated generous pounds to play the older, unfit self, and then went on to lose all of it and beef up, to play the professional wrestler, a scene that lasted a mere 30 seconds, might we add!
In the latest video that has been released, post its humongous 130 crore rupees plus domestic gross over four days, the actor can be seen undergoing his grueling training sessions for the film.
Arjuna awardee and Indian national wrestling coach Kripa Shankar Bishnoi Beniwal, who trained Aamir, and the girls Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra, maintains that despite of his physical constraints, Aamir was a quick learner.
And the making video pays ample testimony to that fact.
But the best part in the video is when a bulked up Aamir adorably mock-wrestles his son Azad. After Aamir 'loses' to him, a gleeful Azad can barely contain his joy.
'Dangal' has been cruising along, braving demonitisation, with tremendous critical and commercial success, having registered the second highest opening weekend gross of all time.
It remains to be seen if it would be able to beat Aamir's own PK record of the all-time highest gross, held by 'PK'.
