Mumbai: Aamir Khan made his mark on the small screen with Satyamev Jayate and if reports are to be believed, he is all set to be part of a TV series. If everything falls into place, he will do a walk-on part in the second season of his close friend Anil Kapoor’s '24'.
Aamir, who has often heaped praises on the show, will launch it along with Anil at a press conference scheduled in the first week of June. Aamir has shown interest but the perfectionist that he is, he will thoroughly review each aspect before making a commitment.
Anil and Aamir’s friendship dates back 17 years, when they first acted together in 'Mann' (1999). The two often bounce off creative ideas off each other and Anil had even shown few rushes of the show to Aamir.
The power-packed action sequences, invigorating storytelling and gripping narrative have made 24 a heart-stopping thriller not only for Indian viewers, but also international audiences.
