Though Ajith disbanded fans club a long time ago, it doesn’t deter millions of his fans indulging in celebrations on the star’s birthday. Young music sensation Vishal Chandrashekar of Jil Jung Juk fame is no different! A huge fan of Thala, the composer has come out with a peppy single titled Vaa Thala Vaa as a tribute to the Billa star’s 45th birthday. Vishal is releasing the track today in collaboration with TrendLoud through his newly launched youtube channel ‘Vishal Chandrashekar’.
When asked about the idea, Vishal said, “I’ve always been a big fan of Ajith since my childhood days. When I was approached by Chennai Tamizhan who handles Facebook and Twitter fan pages of ‘Ajith Kumar — One Man’, I was floored. I loved the lyrics he presented and they are tailored towards his fans and I didn’t want to let go of the opportunity. The song is reminiscent of the soundtracks that one would find in a Thala movie.”
Similarly, 21-year-old Aswin Ramesh, an MBA student of SRM University and his friends have come out with a three-and-half minute video titled Thalathaanda Engeyum.
Aswin tells DC, “As a team, we’re quite excited to do this for Ajith sir. We are huge fans of his and this is our way of showing love to him. I wrote the lyrics and I am rapping it. Roshan of Super Singer fame has sung it and the background music has been scored by Kevin David, while Deepak is producing this. We tried approaching Ajith sir and we were told that he was out of town. Anyhow, we’ll try to meet him once he’s back here!”
The team has also managed to rope in celebrities like Vikram, Anirudh Ravichander, Venkat Prabhu and a few others to wish Ajith for his birthday.
Aswin quickly adds that he’s aware of the fact that the Kabali teaser is also getting released today. “That’s not making us nervous at all. Both the stars are big in their own right. I am quite sure that nobody is going to keep watching the teaser, for the whole day! In the meantime, I hope they also see what we have done for Ajith,” he concludes.
