KS Ravikumar prepares for next
Director KS Ravikumar’s previous outing, Mudinja Ivana Pudi, starring Sudeep and Nithya Menen did mediocre business at the box-office. The director played significant roles in Vijay Sethupathi’s Rekka and Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo this year. He is now looking forward to collaborate with Raghava Lawrence for his next directorial.
Speaking to DC, KS Ravikumar said, “I met Lawrence recently and we discussed the prospect of joining hands for a film. Currently, I am writing scripts across two to three genres. After completing them, I will narrate them. The project will take time to materialise as Lawrence has to listen to the narration and choose the script that he likes.”
Answering the query about whether he will turn into a full-time actor, he replies, “I am not really keen on getting into acting through and throughout. If a director approaches me with an obligation to act, I will choose to do it. Otherwise, I will stick to direction and writing only.”
