It looks like the khaki season is back in K’town. Veteran actor Rahman who made a comeback recently playing Jyothika’s husband in 36 Vayadhinile, has signed a movie titled Pagadi Aattam, where he is essaying a cyber crime senior cop.
The movie, directed by Ram K Chandran has actress Gowri Nandha featured as an auto driver. It is about the dark side of advent of technology — that of cyber crime.
Speaking about the movie, Chandran, who was a former assistant to popular filmmakers like Mahendran and Selvaraj, says, “The film revolves around two character, an affluent person in the society and a lady who fights for her livelihood.
The spat between the two and its repercussions forms the rest. The entire film has been shot in Chennai and Gowri plays a bold character. The film has an interesting screenplay.”
Akhil of Kaloori fame has been brought on board for a vital role. Karthiraja composes the tracks.
