Nandha plays an undercover cop in his upcoming movie titled Kallaattam

After Vellore Maavattam, actor Nandha will be sporting the role of an undercover cop again in his upcoming movie titled Kallaattam. Directed by noted cinematographer Ramesh G, the film also features actor Richard, as another male lead. Actress Shaarika appears in a crucial role.

Ramesh is a name to reckon with when it comes to cinematography. His earlier movies include King, Thiruda Thirudi, and Azhwar, among others. Ramesh made his debut as a filmmaker with Vinay-starrer Iruvar Ullam, which is under production. Talking about Kallaattam, he says, “Unlike other cop movies, we have showcased police officers with high esteem. It reinstates the idea that ‘police are people’s trusted friends’. The story is about how the hero saves a child who battles for her life after a mishap with a chain snatcher.” He adds that the story is partly inspired by a real-life incident. Umar Ezhilan is the music composer.
