In all the horror films in Tamil cinema, invariably we see a haunted bungalow as the central character. A horror thriller, titled Sathura Adi 3500, which revolves around real-life spooky incidents that took place in the real estate sector, differs from the routine stuff, vouches its director Stephen.
Rahman will be seen as an investigating officer. Kannada hero Akash plays the lead protagonist, and Ineya, who stars opposite him, is possessed by a spirit in the movie. Swati Dixit of Ice Cream fame has been roped in and Nikil from M’town debuts as her partner.
Talking to DC, Stephen said, “I took the plot from a real estate mafia network headed by a notorious don, who once was dominating the field. Pratap Pothen portrays the role. A young guy who aspires to become an architect and his encounter with the supernatural forms the crux. It does not happen in one particular building; the ghost travels all over!”
Elaborating more about the project, he reveals, “I was looking out for a bubbly girl who has good dancing skills. Swati was a perfect fit. She has a meaty role and has done well. There are many combination scenes between Swati and Ineya.”
