Comedy actor Yogi Babu shot to limelight with his performance in Kaaka Muttai Manikandan’s Aandavan Kattalai, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika Singh. Post its release, the actor got an opportunity to be part of films like Remo, Kattapava Kanom, Saravanan Iruka Bayamen and many more.
Yogi Babu has bagged a promising opportunity to star alongside Vijay in director Atlee’s upcoming film. “Yes, I have been signed on to provide comic relief in the film and I have a lot of combination scenes with Vijay sir. I played a brief role in Velayudham and I am really excited to perform alongside Vijay sir in this prestigious project,” he asserts.
After wrapping up the Europe schedule, the team took a small break and resumed shoot a couple of days back in Chennai. While Kajal was part of the Europe schedule, Samantha has joined the shoots in the city. Actor Sathyan is also part of this schedule.
Produced by Sri Thenandal Films, Vijay 61 boasts an ensemble cast of Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj and Vadivelu playing significant roles. The first look of the film is slated to be released on Vijay’s birthday which falls on June 22.
