Tamannaah excited to team up with Vikram
Vikram, who recently completed the first schedule for Gautham Menon’s Dhuruva Natchathiram, is also gearing up to commence his next project with director Vijay Chandar of Vaalu fame. Earlier, it was reported that Sai Pallavi was signed as the female lead. But, later, she opted out of the project citing date issues.
Speculations were rife that Tamannaah was being considered as the heroine.
Putting an end to the speculation, the Devi(L) actress confirmed that she is indeed a part of the movie. Speaking to DC, she says, “I am excited to start this project and at this point of time, I won’t be able to reveal anything about my characterisation. When I met Vijay to listen to the story, I was blown away! It was so liberating to see a strong storyline in a commercial pot-boiler. I will start shooting for the project from March.”
This is the first time that Tamannaah will be sharing screen space with Vikram. “Of course, it will be a fresh-pairing on screen and I am so kicked to see his performance up close. I have met him a couple of times at functions but I haven’t met him after signing for the film,” she shares.
Meanwhile, we hear that the shooting of this untitled film will commence in the city from February 10. Popular Bhojpuri and Telugu actor Ravi Kishan will be essaying the role of a villain for this flick.
