Actors Aadhi and Nikki Galrani’s chemistry in Yagavarayinum Naa Kaaka was applauded by both the critics and the audience. The duo is now teaming up again for an adventure comedy directed by debutant Saravanan, a former associate of director Ram of Mundasupatti fame. This untitled film is produced by Axees Film Factory, which bankrolled Urumeen.
“I wanted to try different characters, so I picked up a comedy script for the first time to challenge myself. My character hails from Tirupur and has a boy-next-door image. We have 10 days of shoot left and this is the quickest film I have done,” Aadhi said. The actor also added that the audience can expect the movie to be an out-and-out comedy entertainer.
The Eeram actor claims that he has fun on the sets, because the film has comedy elements. On sharing the screen with Kaaka Muttai fame Shanthi Mani, he says, “On seeing her the first day, I addressed her as paati, but she is a cool dude! Now, we are so comfortable with her that I call her ‘baby’ and she likes it! We even danced together on the sets. Shanthi Mani is an enthusiastic actor and she is definitely not a typical 75-year-old grandmother.”
The technical team of Mundasupatti has been retained for this untitled flick with actor Ramadoss (Muniskanth in Mundasupatti) providing comic relief.
