After Atharvaa, here is another hero who is set to romance four heroines — Akhil of Kalloori fame. He is paired opposite the likes of Ishara Nair, Raihana, Sahana and Krishnapriya, in his next titled Engada Irundheenga Ivvalavu Naala.
Talking about the film, director Kevin says, “Akhil plays Sanjay, a talented and passionate movie buff who comes to the city from his village with dreams of making it big in cinema. But when things turn sour after a point, he returns to his native. When the village head, Pannayar Nesamani (played by Mottai Rajhendran) gets to know of Sanjay’s problem, he reaches out to help him. He sells his properties and produces a film for Sanjay.”
He adds, “Cinema can make or break a person. I have explored the pros and cons of the cine industry.” Yesteryear heroine, Kausalya, who is back donning the greasepaint, has been brought on board for a key character. Shakila has a comic role in the film.
