Superstar Rajinikanth reveals Kabali release date

Superstar Rajinikanth was spotted at the Chennai airport as he was catching a flight to Delhi to participate at the Padma Award ceremony, where he was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan for his exceptional and distinguished contribution to art and cinema. In an informal chat with the press at the airport, Rajini said, “I am happy to receive this big honour, and I thank central government for choosing me.”

When queried about the release of his gangster film Kabali in Ranjith’s directorial baton, he said, “It would release by May end, or early June.” What about punch dialogues in Kabali, we ask, and he says with his characteristic smile, “Watch the film, you will know.”
