Action King Arjun and JD Chakravarthy’s bilingual movie Kontract in Kannada and Telugu — which was launched with much fanfare a few years ago —with Minissha Lamba as the female lead, has undergone a few changes and is finally set to see the light of the day soon.
Directed by Sameer, erstwhile assistant to RGV, the movie has Divya Singh of Ishq Junoon fame and Kushi Gadhvi as the heroines. The movie is releasing as Iruvar Oppandham in Tamil. The story revolves around Arjun, a businessman, who embarks on a trip abroad with his office staff. One of the women on the trip gets caught in a huge predicament — how Arjun saves her life forms the crux. Billed as an action thriller, the film is shot in Oman and Thailand besides Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai.
