Jyothika (who is usually seen in dignified roles especially after she made a comeback in films), in national award winner Bala’s upcoming flick Naachiyaar has mouthed a cuss word, much to everyone’s shock.
The teaser of the movie which was released by her hubby Suriya did not go well with a section of netizens. Minutes after its release, they started trolling Jyothika for using the swear word. While a few come in support of the Magalir Mattum actress, many feel that the use of cuss words in a trailer which would be seen by all is inappropriate regardless of the person uttering it.
The actress is seen in an unconventional bold avatar donning a huge bindhi on forehead, while in a few other scenes, she sports khaki, drives a jeep and chases someone. Her co-star GV Prakash appears to be a North Chennai guy on the run from the police. Many personalities from the film industry including Anurag Kashyap have heaped praises on GVP’s looks and his performance.
We will have to wait and watch if the same dialogue will pass off censor scissors while certifying theatrical trailer/teaser. Bala might have included it (which could have been relevant for the sequence in the film) deliberately to create a sensation, as the online teaser need not go through censors.
