Actress Sangitha Krish, who has earned a name for herself in the Tamil film industry with her strong performances in films like Pitha Magan, Evano Oruvan and Manmadhan Ambu, has been maintaining a low profile since 2010. Though she has appeared in cameo roles in Vanakkam Chennai, Masss and Mupparimaanam, she has stayed away from signing full-fledged roles.
Now, after a hiatus of seven years, the actress has announced that she will return to Kollywood. She was last seen in an art film, Puthran, for which, she bagged the TN Sate Award in the Best Actress category in 2010. When we got in touch with Sangitha, she was quick enough to confirm her comeback, but refrained from divulging any details about the film she has signed.
Sangitha made her acting debut in Malayalam with the film Gangothri in 1997 and slowly branched out to Tamil and Telugu in the years 1998 and 1999 respectively. She is known for choosing bold roles and impeccable dance numbers. Watch this space for more updates!
