Sathyaraj signs a new thriller film
Actor Sathyaraj, who is busy shooting war sequences for SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion, has now signed a thriller film with debutant director Karthik. This untitled venture, to be produced by Nadhambal Film Factory, is a kidnap thriller set in an FM station.
The team has completed five days of shoot and is already planning to release the film in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. In a statement, director Karthik claims that this is an untouched genre in the Tamil industry, and a majority of the portions would be shot in a FM station. With the story focusing on the kidnapper and an RJ, this film also has satirical dialogues, like those uttered by Sathyaraj.
The Jackson Durai actor also added that he is eager to work with newcomers as they churn out fresh ideas. He further stated that he is very impressed with the film and was completely engrossed in the two-hour narration. This untitled film has music scored by Santhosh and Shriram handling the camera.
