Kuttram 23, a film for everyone
Arun Vijay-starrer Kuttram 23 has finally booked the March 3 spot for release. The medical thriller, starring Mahima Nambiar as the female lead is a film that will appeal to all audiences, director Arivazhagan believes.
Talking to DC, he says “When you work on a script, it must either be one that is close to your heart, or close to the society. My film Vallinam, although centered around basketball, spoke more about how other sports were lacking the attention cricket was getting. Kuttram 23 will speak about irregularities in the medical field, especially in connection to childbirth.”
Arivazhagan explains that a lot of thought has gone into getting a quality output, technically. “Since the film has a medical backdrop, and white collar crimes, white is the tone we have used in the film and the overall output looks chic and elegant.”
Arun Vijay plays a police officer, and his looks and style have been garnering praise ever since the trailer released. “Arun proved that he could handle negative roles effortlessly through Yennai Arindhaal. The same way, I think I have brought out another dimension in him that the audiences have not seen yet. We have carefully styled him for the film, and we will get to see many shades to his character,” Arivazhagan concludes
