Richie is very special to me: Shraddha Srinath
At the audio launch of the upcoming Kollywood film Richie, which is the remake of Kannada hit Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Shraddha Srinath said, “Richie is so special to me. It’s because because this was the first Tamil film that I had auditioned for. I did not know the language well. I was an absolute newcomer. But I had the determination to speak in Tamil, as it was a very good role and I didn’t want to let it go. Also, I found the entire team nice and warm. Now, after one and a half years, I’m here standing in front of you all when Richie is complete.”
Though this was her first signed film, two of her other movies Ivan Thanthiran and Vikram Vedha were already released and she was acclaimed for her performances.
She was also all praise for the film’s director Gautham Ramachandran.
“I really thank Gautham Ramachandran sir for casting a newcomer like me
opposite a big star like Nivin,” she expressed. Others in the cast include Natraj Subramaniam, Lakshmi Priya, GK Reddy and more.
